My Private Range Facility is located on 35 acres just south accross the James River from Williamsburg.  It is not open to the public. If you come by unannounced you are trespassing and subject to arrest. 

CUSTOM SHOP HOURS: I am OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. This closed shop policy allows me to get my work done in a timely manner, without interruptions. If you need to come by the shop please call in advance and make an appointment. Thank you for your understanding.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Don't trust your GPS. Many of my clients have had problems.

Directions from Richmond Airport (RIC): Take I-95 South or 295 South and pick up Rt.10 east out of Hopewell, just south of Richmond. You will stay on Rt. 10 all the way, as we are located on Rt. 10. When you get to Surry, Rt. 10 & 31 will merge at a stop sign. Make a left and head for Surry. There will be a stoplight at the Surry Court House. Take a right at the light. This will put you back on Rt. 10 east (Colonial Trail East).  Go about 7 miles and you'll see the Bacons Castle Stop & Rob Store at the intersection of Rt. 617 (White Marsh Rd.) & Rt. 10 (Colonial Trail East), which means you are very close. Keep heading east on Rt. 10 for about 1/2 mile. At the first bend in the road you will see a O.D. Green colored “Pepper Popper” steel target on the right side of the road beside our mail box (7366 Colonial Trail East). The dirt road is about 1/2 mile long and bumpy. Head for the white building (Custom Shop) behind the tan mobile home (Office & Class Room). Park on the "Grassy Knoll" under the tall pine trees on the left opposite of the old red barn. 

Directions from Norfolk Airport (ORF): Take I-64 west towards Hampton. Pickup Rt. 258 (Mercury Blvd.) heading south off of I-64 in Hampton. Go across the James River Bridge and take a right at the 4th light. Keep going until you reach the next light at Benns Church. Turn right onto Rt. 10 and head towards Smithfield (staying on Rt. 10 bypass around Smithfield). At the intersection of Rt. 258 & 10 there is a commuter parking lot (this is a landmark). Stay on Rt. 10 (Colonial Trail East) for about (10) miles until you reach the intersection of Hog Island Road and Mt. Ray. Stay on Rt. 10, as we are 1/4 mile past this intersection on the left. The first driveway on the left is the Bacons Castle Hunt Club. The second driveway on the left is our driveway at the first bend in the road. You will see an O.D. Green colored “Pepper Popper” steel target on the left side of the road beside our mail box (7366 Colonial Trail East). Our dirt road is about 1/2 mile long and bumpy. Head for the white building (our Custom Shop) that is directly behind the tan mobile home (Office & Class Room). Park in the shade under the tall pine trees on the left opposite the old red barn.

From Williamsburg via Jamestown Ferry: Take the FREE ferry accross the James River. Head into the town of Surry. Take a left at the light (Rt. 10 East). Go about 7 miles and you'll see the Bacons Castle Stop & Rob Store at the intersection of Rt. 617 (White Marsh Rd.) & Rt. 10 (Colonial Trail East), which means you are very close. Keep heading east on Rt. 10 for about 1/2 mile.
